65 million years ago, dinosaurs became extinct…or did they? At Indysaurus—the destination spot for families, dino lovers, and people who refuse to settle for an ordinary Airbnb stay—you’ll find dinos tastefully chilling out in this spacious, light-filled 5BR, 3696 sq. ft. home.

Play a game of Jurassic Park pinball. Snap selfies with the “Eric the Dino” Instagram wall (#DinoEric). Sip adult beverages while you play a board game or Mega Connect 4 in the sunroom with your older kids…or join your younger kids while they enjoy the fenced-in backyard and large outdoor playset complete with slide, swings, and lookout tower.

Whatever brings you to Indianapolis—the Indy 500, the famous dino exhibit at the Children’s Museum that inspired our home, your second cousin Piper’s wedding, corporate shareholder meeting, etc.—you’ll have an experience that’s anything but prehistoric because of our modern aesthetic and furnishings.

Indysaurus has free onsite parking, and is conveniently located on a quiet cul-de-sac that’s just:

– 14 miles away from the Indianapolis International Airport

– 0.6 miles away from a gas station with the cheapest prices around

– 0.7 miles away from a convenience store and pharmacy

– 2.2 miles from a large supermarket

– 7.9 miles from Indianapolis Motor Speedway

– 3.6 mile from The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis

All are welcome at Indysaurus! Professionals will appreciate the Wi-Fi that’s stronger than a T-Rex and home office in the upstairs master bedroom. (Although if you sit in the sunroom, you can dino-bomb your weekly Zoom call…we’re here for all your dino hijinks.) Indysaurus is also available for event bookings, so please message us if that interests you!

The space

Our eclectic 5 bedroom, 3696 sq. ft. home marries the natural with the modern (and a touch of the Jurassic). You’ll find an abundance of natural light and natural fibers, fabrics, and textures, as well as carefully curated tropical plants.

But in every room you’ll find a strong WiFi signal, conveniently located electrical outlets, forced heat and central air conditioning vents.

We’ve also included lots of kid-friendly items: stroller, high chair, pack-n-play, books, toys, large outdoor playset, and bunk beds just to name a few. Keep reading, there’s so much to tell you about!

First floor

Parents, we’ve got your back!

No need to pack a stroller, high chair, or pack-n-play…because you’ll find them all in our entryway closet. There’s also a full-length mirror so you can check your look before you leave for all your Indianapolis adventures.

Bedroom 1 “Monstera Master”: full of natural indirect light from two windows, this bedroom has a platform king-sized bed, 9 ft of abundant closet space, and thriving tropical monstera plant. However, plush pink blackout curtains keep the room dark enough to please any late sleeper. There’s also a bedside charging station in addition to the many outlets.

Bedroom 2 “Voyager Queen”: this elegant room has a more vintage feel to it. Cozy up in the queen-sized bed, or play hide-and-seek with your guests in 9 ft of closet space (Or, hang up your clothes—that’s what most people do!) Inside the closet you’ll also find a cabinet full of extra towels for the shower. There are 2 windows in this room as well as blackout curtains.

Kitchen: so functional and so beautiful you won’t need or want to go out to eat! There’s a Kitchenaid gas stove and oven, Whirlpool triple-door refrigerator, Kitchenaid dishwasher, and large single drop-in sink with garbage disposal and storage underneath for cleaning supplies. We’ve got all the cookware you need to whip up meals, including pots, pans, colanders, bowls, measuring cups, baking sheets, etc.—and then the ceramic plates, bowls, utensils, cups, glasses etc. to enjoy them (also includes plates for kids). There are plenty of cabinets for food storage. And may we call your attention to the delightful dino drawer and cabinet pulls? We think you’ll love how they look.

Dining room: formal small dining room with black & white round dining table that seats 4, oval bar cart equipped with a mixology set for the sophisticated cocktail drinker (for safety purposes, you must supply the alcohol however), and the most beautiful Birds of Paradise plant you’ve ever seen. Stunning wood French doors lead to the sunroom.

Sunroom: our 3-season sunroom features 3 walls of light-filled windows that you may open, a large white table that seats 8-10 and is perfect for dining or socializing, games, Eric the Dino, Majesty Palm, a charging station—and endless opportunities for fun and hanging out. Play one of our board games, magnetic dart board, or Mega Connect 4 that are tucked away inside the banquet bar. Or, allow #DinoEric and his fern wall to make an appearance on your TikTok channel or Insta-story. Or, work—you’ll be the envy of your fellow remote workers.

Living room: Pinball players, TV fans, and comfort lovers—this is your room! The open living room with giant bay window sits between the kitchen and the dining room, and features a no-charge Jurassic Park pinball machine, non-working granite fireplace, 50” smart TV, vegan leather sofa, vegan leather sitting chairs, custom handmade bench, giant Majesty Palm, framed original architectural floor plans from the 1950’s and more.

First-floor bathroom: your kids will love the abundance of bath toys (which we sanitize between visits). There’s also a tropical tile painting in the bathtub that will make them feel like they’re splashing in a prehistoric pool! For the adults, there’s a standalone shower (includes a dispenser full of body wash, shampoo, and conditioner) and a large vanity for all your grooming needs. The towel closet contains a first aid kit along with the bath toys. Unlike our other windows, the bathroom window has privacy glass and you may open it.

Second floor

Bedroom 3 “Dino Master by Gucci”: Please allow our Gucci Dino portrait to welcome you to our largest master bedroom. This L-shaped bedroom is so relaxing and plush you’ll try to take it home with you. King-sized bed, leather two-seat sofa, home office corner with desk, 2 windows with dark green velvet curtains, two large closets, and two medium-sized storage cubbies. The left closet holds a full-size ironing board, iron, clothing steamer, and pedestal fan for warm days. In contrast with the first floor Monstera Master, this room has more of a masculine feeling to it.

Bedroom 4 “Blue Dinostars Queen”: Snuggle up under the blue dino comforter on our queen-sized bed…or curl up with your Kindle in the studded gray accent chair…or get styled at the bedroom vanity. For fun, a tiny music box plays the Jurassic Park theme song. And when it’s time to sleep, gaze up at the blue dino constellation art and wonder what the nighttime sky looked like for our ancient friends. This room connects to our Roarin’ Kids Room and has two windows with adjustable blinds, built-in drawers, and 9 ft of closet storage.

Bedroom 5 “Roarin’ Kids Room”: This kids’ room has 2 low-to-the-floor bunk beds with centered ladders, making it easier for kids to get in and out of bed. The room contains a closet with a cooling fan, and cubbies for children’s books & toys that provide hours of entertainment. We know your kids might fall in love with one of the toys or books, so we’ve made them available to purchase via our Amazon storefront. This Roarin’ Room features two windows with adjustable blinds. *The upper bunk beds are not suitable for children under 6 years of age due to the risk of injury from falls.*

Second-floor bathroom: Large bathroom with large walk-in shower with 2 safety grab bars, and a dispenser full of body wash, shampoo and conditioner. A shelf holds towels, bamboo jars of cotton swabs and cotton rounds, a hairdryer, and a stool. Unlike the other windows in Indysaurus, this window has privacy glass and you may open it. There’s also a ventilation fan.

Outdoors

Indysaurus sits on a half-acre lot. The fully fenced-in backyard creates a safe and private space for hours of outdoor fun and dino hunting. Your kids will love the large playset with swings, slide, and lookout tower. While we don’t have outdoor seating, the windows in the sunroom open into the backyard so you can enjoy dining semi-outdoors (without all those pesky flies)! We offer free driveway parking on the premises, and it’s free to park on the street if you need to.
